There are several circumstances where some unreadable data gets attached to the ZIP file, making it hard for the program to extract the data. So, once the compressed file has been downloaded, the program views the header file as inaccurate, making the ZIP file appear corrupted. Being open-source, there are always issues that come with such file formats.
